The Club at Black Rock in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
Encompassing nearly 700 acres, The Club at Black Rock is a private golf community overlooking Lake Coeur d’ Alene. When people think of The Club, the first thing that comes to mind is world-class private golf. And rightfully so. Architect Jim Engh has created a masterful course that makes inspiring use of what Mother Nature has already provided—including the black basalt rock formations from which Black Rock gets its name. This, in addition to jaw-dropping views of Lake Coeur d’ Alene, was enough to earn the illustrious title of Golf Digest’s Best New Private course of 2003.
The Club at Black Rock was Coeur d'Alene's first gated, private golf community. After opening in 2003, the club quickly earned several accolades including being the only course in Idaho on Golf Digest's Top 100 Courses in America list at number 27. The Club at Black Rock has over 300 active members who spend much of their summer at The Club. Anyone who experiences Black Rock immediately comments on the community of people that make up the community. Finding a game of golf with friends, a game of Gin Rummy or a cruise on the lake isn't a problem at Black Rock. The Club also features a 31,000 square foot clubhouse that opened in 2004, a private 5,000 square foot Kid's Only Clubhouse, a marina, beach & beach club and multiple dining venues.
Membership Information
The Club at Black Rock features a non-equity deposit membership.
Full membership without restrictions is currently a deposit of $125,000 (plus sales tax). A Sports membership without golf privileges requires a deposit of $50,000 (plus sales tax).
